More Poetry

I saw someone I love who is dear to me, sitting alone beneath a tree. I stoped and pauseed to wonder why, that all her friends are passing her by. She looked afraid and very sad, as if something had happened that was very bad. I walked over to where she sat, and saw in her lap a crumpled up old hat. I asked her about it and who it was for, she looked up at me and smiled saying it didn't matter anymore. She told me then that she had been here all day, just to see which friend would come her way. She said her heart had told her a true friend would come, and she somehow knew that I would be the one. I helped her up and to my house we went, and everyday since together we spent.

Though my heart is weary, from all the tears I have shed. I sit and stare out my window, when I should be in my bed. I have no cause for fear, but I wonder as to why. All the love that is in this world, just seems to have passed me by. I am feeling so lost, and I can't find my way back. I am feeling so alone, because of all the love I lack.

My love for you has grown so strong, sometimes it feels like i can't go on. When I looked into your eyes, I saw a something in you that could not be disguised. Your soul shined through and it was so clear, I knew right then there was nothing left to fear. I felt my heart jump in my chest, and all my wrongs were put to rest. You saved my heart, and granted me a new start. The walls were broken, and your love was granted as a token. So in the end it will come to this, when it comes to my love I will never be remiss.
